Route directions

1. Coming from the north and west (Frankfurter Kreuz ...):

• A5 or A 67 - exit "Darmstadt Stadtmitte / Griesheim"

• Along "Rheinstrasse" towards "Stadtmitte" (the same as the tram)

• At the crossroads turn right into "Neckarstrasse" towards "Eberstadt" (the same as the tram)

• Follow "Neckarstrasse" which later becomes "Heidelberger Strasse" (about 5 kilometres)

• At the tram stop "Carl-Ulrich-Strasse" turn left into "Carl-Ulrich-Strasse"

• Take the 2^nd road left into "Heinrich-Delp-Strasse"

• At the next crossroads turn right into "Am Steinern Kreuz"

• At the end turn left into "Auf der Marienhöhe"

• There is a parking lot at the end of the road.

  
  

2. Coming from the south (Heidelberg, Weinheim ...):

• A 5 - exit "Pfungstadt / Eberstadt"

• At the traffic lights turn left into "Karlsruher Strasse" towards "Eberstadt"

• At the next traffic lights turn right into "Pfungstädter Strasse" towards "Eberstadt"

• At the next traffic lights turn left into "Walter-Rathenau-Strasse" which later becomes "Reuterallee"

• Follow till the end of "Reuterallee", then turn left into "Heidelberger Landstrasse"

• At the 2^nd traffic lights turn right into "Carl-Ulrich-Strasse"

• Take the 2^nd road left into "Heinrich-Delp-Strasse"

• At the next crossroads turn right into "Am Steinern Kreuz"

• At the end turn left into "Auf der Marienhöhe"

• There is a parking lot at the end of the road.

  
  

3. Coming from the east (Dieburg ...):

• B 26 (Hanauer Strasse) towards Darmstadt

• First exit for Darmstadt, turn left into "Heinrichstrasse"; drive about 2 kilometres straight ahead

• Turn left into "Heidelberger Strasse"; drive about 3 kilometres straight ahead

• At the tram stop "Carl-Ulrich-Strasse" turn left into "Carl-Ulrich-Strasse"

• Take the 2^nd road left into "Heinrich-Delp-Strasse"

• At the next crossroads turn right into "Am Steinern Kreuz"

• At the end turn left into "Auf der Marienhöhe"

• There is a parking lot at the end of the road.

4. Coming by train (Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof):

• In front of the main entrance there are tram and bus stops.

• In the morning and in the evening the tram line no. 1 (towards Eberstadt) stops at the tram stop "Marienhöhe".

• During the day, take bus no. D or F towards Stadtmitte and get off at "Rhein-Neckar-Strasse".

• Cross the street to your right, then cross again and go to the tram stop of the Rheinstrasse.

• Take tram no. 7 or 8 towards Eberstadt and get off at "Marienhöhe"

• Follow the path through the forest uphill, cross "Heinrich-Delp-Strasse" and continue on the forest path.

• The first building to your right is the administration building. In front of it you will find a campus map.

• The easiest way, if you have luggage, is to take a taxi from the train station (side entrance).
